Enjoy a Stand-Up Paddleboarding trip to Loch Freuchie in Highland Perthshire after treating yourself to a coffee and a second hand book to read from the excellent book selection at the Birnam Reader, Birnam.

Start your day in style with a Coffee and a cake at the Birnam Reader. You can use the Coffee and Book Voucher at any time, even if it is not on the same day as the Paddleboarding. Explore beautiful Dunkeld and Birnam with its history, scenery, walks and eateries before driving the scenic 25 minutes to Loch Fruechie.

This Three Hour session will provide you with all clothing and equipment provided, teach you the basics of paddleboarding and take you out onto the beautiful waters of Loch Freuchie and the River Quaich. Your experienced Instructor will help you progress in Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), whether you are a beginner or a more accomplished paddler.

Loch Freuchie is one of the best places to learn in Scotland, with sheltered waters in almost all weather conditions on the river, combined with magnificent, classic highland views on the loch. Experience this wonderful spot from the fantastic of the vantage point of a Paddleboard. There is plenty to take in, with its grand highland hills and landscape. Paddling on the river the view changes every corner, enticing you to paddle further along its meandering waters.

The Birnam Reader is situated on Station Road in Birnam. With an excellent selection of teas and coffees it's a great place to unwind, peruse and pick out a second hand book. In the heart of Birnam, it makes a great base to explore the twin villages of Dunkeld and Birnam, teeming with history, culture and magnificent views.
